Aims & Objectives of JAGRUTHI Seva Sangam
i) JAGRUTHI SEVA SANGAM Aims : Jagruti Seva Sangam “aims” at empowering the underprivileged, irrespective of caste, creed or religion, in the rural, semi-urban Urban Slum Areas & tribal regions of all over India.
ii) JAGRUTHI SEVA SANGAM Objectives : a) to facilitate; establish; organize; found; arrange health education programs; projects and awareness campaigns on health issues; in the semi-urban; rural & tribal regions.
b) to facilitate; arrange; organize, establish health projects; family planning projects; mobile medical units; dispensaries; health centers; aids programs & projects; condom depots; nutrition oriented projects, in the semi-urban; rural & tribal regions;
c) to facilitate; arrange; organize; found; establish rehabilitation institutes; short stay homes; day care center for the aged; physically disabled; blind & destitute women; crèches & balwadis; sewing & tailoring centers, in the semi-urban; rural & tribal regions;
d) to facilitate; establish; arrange; organize, campaigns; programs; projects; research studies on environmental a spectacular ozone layer protection, pollution control systems and research related issues; forestry & wild life; agriculture; pisi-culture; aqua-culture & promotion of non-pesticide management including vermiculture & vermicompost and in the rural & tribal regions;
e) to facilitate; arrange; establish; organize watershed projects; sericulture projects; waste land development; tourism development and monuments protection to save for future generations in the rural, semi urban & tribal regions and all over India.
f) to facilitate; arrange; establish; organize child labour rehabilitation schools; residential bridge course centers; non formal education centers; adult education centers; rural libraries in the semi-urban; rural & tribal regions;
g) to facilitate; establish; organize; arrange youth empowerment; small & marginal farmers empowerment programs & projects and development programs and projects for the empowerment of women & the girl child including the promotion of self help groups and micro credit finance projects; prevention of atrocities on women, in the semi-urban; rural & tribal regions;
h) to facilitate; establish, organize; arrange projects & programs on renewable energy; solar power; wind energy; rural sanitation; rural housing; rural infrastructural development.
i) to arrange; organize; establish; facilitate free legal aid programs; human rights, consumer employee rights in all sectors transport related development research project; road safety campaigns & programs;
j) to do all such other things and other programs & projects, mentioned/not mentioned in this list and to collect funds; donations; grants; aid; gifts; subscriptions from the members of the society; general public; philanthropists; government grants; funding agencies & institutions, in India & Abroad and to use such funding for the achievement of the Aims & Objectives of the society;
k) to open bank accounts in the shape of savings & Currents Accounts, in the name of the society and to operate, such accounts, by the Secretary & Treasurer, only.
